Junior Mechanical Toys (Grades K-2):
April 12th- May 17th 4:30pm-5:30pm
In this program our engineers will be introduced to diameter, kinetic and potential energy, force, momentum, vibration, and motion. Students will explore and construct six different toys throughout this unit, including spinners, boomerang cans, wind-up whirligigs, buzzers, popper launchers, and guitars.
Apprentice Mechanical Toys (Grades 3-5):
April 12th- May 17th 5:45pm-6:45pm
In the Apprentice Toy Workshop, students will get the opportunity to test their creativity while learning Engineering concepts! There will be open-ended lessons that allow the students to experience center of gravity, balance, and hand-eye coordination. They'll learn about torque and mass when launching two objects at once. While making toys that will reflect, multiply, and vibrate and spin!

Wednesdays (each program goes for six weeks)
