Jr. Marine Engineering: K-2nd grade
Students will explore fairytales and superheroes from different points of view and engage in activities to investigate solutions for each fairy tales and superheroes' obstacles. Students will use engineering skills to design and create a tool to hypnotize Batman, construct a tower for Rapunzel, and a goose launcher for Jack's golden egg.
Apprentice Marine Engineering: 3rd-4th grade
Students will explore fairytales and superheroes from different points of view and engage in activities to investigate solutions for each fairy tale and superheroes' obstacles. Students will use mechanical engineering skills to design and create different modes of transportation, such as a getaway vehicle for the heroine and a wagon for the princess, as civil engineers students will construct a tower for Rapunzel, a catapult for Super girl and more.
Program Information: Fridays @ 3:25-4:25 at Holmes Elementary School
Dates: 4/3-5/29 (no 4/10, 4/17, or 5/22)
Location: Holmes Elm.
Cost: $90
